The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) established the Office of Health Equity to support our efforts to reduce health disparities and address health inequities. Aligning with the Ten Essential Public Health Services, our work starts by adopting and promoting recognized best practices, building partnerships across Arizona, using data to uncover differences in health outcomes and their root causes, and engaging diverse community voices.
